Where am I … Wisconsin?

We were privy to some good ‘ol fashioned mid-west weather today. Being in SoCal usually guarantees a steady clear with a high of 75°, but today was different. A little lightening, thunder, rain and good size hail made the day rather interesting. I snapped a few pics while waiting to pick the kids up from school—just in case you didn’t believe me :)

Busy as all get out

Well, fortunately for me, I’ve been super busy over here. The result of that is that my site gets neglected :( So, thought I make a quick post and let you in on what’s been going on.

Here’s the short list of stuff I’m currently working on:

• WorldBlu Site Redesign. Good buddy Tim is handling the code.
• RightSignature UI Action. Cool and practical site (I use it for my contracts).
• Public Site and Online App for Non-Profit (still a secret).
• New website for TypeMatrix. AaronI partnering with me on this one.
• other stuff as well …

I’ll keep you posted as junk develops and post design samples on my portfolio at Krop. You might also be wondering what the heck the above photo has to do with anything—it doesn’t. Just a cool pic by a good friend of mine: Dave Studarus. Check out his work at David Studarus Photo.

New Cards + Contest

I recently designed new business cards and had them printed over SplatPrint.com. I went full-color, two-sided with rounded corners on the 130lb. Recycled Velvet cover. Just got ‘em in the mail and I’m quite fond of them. So much so, that SplatPrint and I are teaming up to give away some free cards so you can see for yourself.

Shake the World

Shake The World is an interactive, not-for-profit documentary that will showcase simultaneous events taking place all around the world at the exact same time.

You might be wondering how they’re gonna do that… On April 11th, 2009, at 4PM Pacific Time, they’re inviting anyone and everyone to record something (yourself, your dog, your girlfriend, your surroundings), for 1 minute; sixty seconds of your life, any way you want to frame it. Be creative. Be innovative. Be inspiring. Be provoking. Basically anything you find interesting can be recorded.

They’ll provide submission guidelines, recording time (depending on time zone), and other details next month. So, check out Shake the World and start thinking about what you’re going to record on April 11th!
