Being in SoCal usually guarantees a steady clear with a high of 75°, but today was different. A little lightening, thunder, rain and good size hail made the day rather interesting. I snapped a few pics while waiting to pick the kids up from school—just in case you didn’t believe me :)

Shake The World is an interactive, not-for-profit documentary that will showcase simultaneous events taking place all around the world at the exact same time.

You might be wondering how they’re gonna do that… On April 11th, 2009, at 4PM Pacific Time, they’re inviting anyone and everyone to record something (yourself, your dog, your girlfriend, your surroundings), for 1 minute; sixty seconds of your life, any way you want to frame it. Be creative. Be innovative. Be inspiring. Be provoking. Basically anything you find interesting can be recorded.

They’ll provide submission guidelines, recording time (depending on time zone), and other details next month. So, check out Shake the World and start thinking about what you’re going to record on April 11th!
